Wudinna

Wudinna
EYRE PENINSULA

Wudinna is so much more than a wheatbelt service centre on the central Eyre Peninsula.

Look beyond this friendly town of around 660 residents and you’ll quickly see why so many people stop and stay on their way across the Nullarbor.

On the edge of the Gawler Ranges National Park, Wudinna is known as much for its extraordinary landscape as for its grain cropping and sheep.

For families, there is the well-respected Wudinna Area School for Reception to Year 12 students and a range of competitive (and social) sporting clubs that belie the size of the town. The annual Wudinna & Le Hunte Districts – AH&F Society Inc Show in September draws people from across the region with other major farming events held at nearby Minnipa.

As Wudinna residents say: big hearts for a small town. Size doesn’t matter!
