Milestones like 75 years don’t happen by accident — they’re built on relationships, trust and generations working together.

For all of us at Ramsey Bros, reaching this milestone has been a chance to pause and say a genuine thank you to the farmers, families, staff and partners who’ve been part of the journey since the business began.

We’ve had a blast hosting events across the regions we’re proud to serve, bringing together farmers, staff, suppliers and long-time friends of the business. To everyone who joined us — thank you. You are the heart of Ramsey Bros.

Celebrations were held across all five Ramsey Bros branches, welcoming around 1,000 guests, from long-term suppliers and customers to past employees. We also recognised several team members who have dedicated more than 40 years of service to Ramsey Bros — an incredible reflection of the people who help keep our business moving every day.

For Lincoln Ramsey, Group Operations Manager, the milestone has been a chance to reflect on the relationships behind Ramsey Bros’ success.

“Reaching 75 years is something we’re incredibly proud of, but it’s really about the people who’ve made it possible — our customers, staff and business partners,” Linc says. “While we’re always looking at ways to innovate and improve, it ultimately comes back to relationships.”

Customers were also part of the celebrations through our 75-year promotion, with one lucky customer now preparing for the trip of a lifetime after winning a $25,000 travel voucher with the purchase of a new Case IH tractor.

Across its history, Ramsey Bros has provided jobs for generations of regional South Australians, creating opportunities while supporting the farming businesses that keep our industry moving.

While the milestone reflects a proud past, our focus is firmly on the future. Our investment in machine connectivity, spray technology and the shift toward autonomy is helping bring smarter automation and better data into everyday farm operations.

At the same time, we’re investing in the next generation of agricultural professionals through apprenticeship programs, leadership development initiatives and opportunities for our team to grow within the business.

Huge congratulations to Goosey Walter, who’s taken out the major prize in our 75-year celebrations. Goosey and his family have farmed just out of Cummins for decades, running a mixed cropping operation and working with Ramsey Bros for more than 20 years.

For Ramsey Bros Director Mark Ward, the milestone is ultimately about stewardship — looking after the business so it can continue supporting farmers and regional communities for years to come.

“Ramsey Bros has always been something we’re responsible for looking after, not just for ourselves but for the people who work here and the communities we support,” Mark says. “Like a farm, you look after it while it’s your turn and hope you leave it in a better place for the next generation.”

Seventy-five years is something we’re incredibly proud of — and with the strength of our people, customers and communities behind us, the best chapters are yet to come.
