We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Riverton, South Australia. Due to steady growth and a strong agricultural sector, we are looking for a skilled professional with a Heavy Diesel (or similar) trade qualification to support our operations and provide exceptional service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, components, and systems of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and farmers as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agricultural technology and equipment.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar field.
- Proven experience as an Agricultural Mechanical Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and other relevant tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
