Drive team performance and growth
At Ramsey Bros, we genuinely care about our employees, their families and the communities that surround our dealerships.
We focus on the wellbeing of our people which is reflected in their work performance and their willingness to share our core value of supporting the local community by providing outstanding service.
Our leadership team is always available and approachable to answer any questions or deal with issues that employees may have, they pride themselves in ensuring Ramsey Bros is a great place to work.
Our culture is our identity and reflects our vision statement, ‘To make a meaningful contribution to the farming and broader community in which we serve.’
We’re a family owned and run business, so we understand the importance of work life balance and supporting our people through life’s events.
We get to know our staff and their families very well – many have been with us for a long time – and we recognise it’s just as valuable to build a sense of community within the office as it is when you leave work and head home at the end of the day.
Our staff believe it’s a great feeling to be appreciated and rewarded for a job well done.
“We’re all here to support each other and when we feel good about coming to work, our customers are the major beneficiaries. We know that great service matters most and the need to really understand the expectations of local farmers, and the Ramsey Bros business.
“It makes you want to go above and beyond and it’s clear that our leadership team also want to see you succeed and will work with you every step of the way to make sure that happens.”
Great staff deserve great support and training.
At Ramsey Bros, we take an active interest in the professional growth of our people, whether it’s through further education or promotion ‘on the job’ with the opportunity to learn from more experienced team members.
As part of our ongoing professional development program, we encourage staff to undertake specialist training for their role e.g. Diploma in agricultural, Agricultural Mechanical Technical training, Parts interpreting, leadership & management training or broaden their general skills in business, machinery or rural operations.
Each staff member has a professional development plan to help them grow and challenge themselves within their job which is reviewed annually with Human Resources.
This not only benefits individual staff personally but also contributes to the overall success of our company.
And it’s not just for those working in front-line roles.
We want every staff member to realise their full potential. One of the best ways to achieve this is through on-the-job learning and giving staff scope to extend their skills and experience by taking on new and different responsibilities including leadership roles.
Ongoing workplace development enables our teams deliver the best services and information that customers need and want.
We take the same long-term partnership approach to supporting our staff as we do with our farming customers – we’ve been doing this for nearly seventy years and the results speak for themselves.
