Ramsey Radio talks to John Gladigau, Executive Director of Bulla Burra Farms and author of the @bullaburra Facebook page about his most recent Open Letter To The Non-Ag Community. John discusses the tired stereotypes of farmers that we’ve all heard over and over again – and the ridiculous online opinions that pushed him to write his epic response.
He also talks about some of his earlier Open letters and the impact they’ve had around the world.
Needless to say, he makes the point that farmers aren’t all the same. In fact, the range of opinions in the farming community are as diverse as any other segment of Australian society.
But, most importantly, he talks about the importance of each of us engaging with our friends in the non-ag community, and using them to help spread the truth about what farmers are like, why we do what we need to do, and what makes us tick.
